Dhamma Taḷāka is centrally located in the outskirts of Almere and easily reached by public transportation.

Direct trains run from various Dutch cities to NS station Almere Centrum.

From Almere Centrum there are several ways to travel further to the center. 

It is recommended that newcomers use Google Maps instead of the 9292 app as it seems to be more reliable to check the latest public transport coming to Dhamma Talaka.

By bus

Several buses go to the meditation center:

Bus 150 - direction Zeewolde:  - Timetable

Bus 160 - direction Zeewolde Mast (daily): 15 minutes - Timetable

Bus R-net 326 - direction Blaricum (Mon - Fri): - Timetable

Get off at bus stop De Kemphaan. From here it is about a 15-minute walk to the meditation center. Walk from the bus stop along the road in the same direction as the traffic and down the stairs. A small tunnel will let you pass under regional road Waterlandseweg. Continue your route for approximately 1 km on the road Kemphaanpad. At the end of the road on the right is the meditation center. Bus M8 - Nobelhorst via Parkwijk - Station Centrum - Timetable

Servers/students who want to take this bus can take it from Station Centrum or Stadhuisplein and stop at the very last stop, Almere Hout, Nobelhorst Midden. After that, they can walk for approximately 25 minutes to the Dhamma Taḷāka. An important thing to note is that NOT every M8 bus will go all the way to Nobelhorst Midden. Thus, it's always best to check the timetable before deciding to take the bus.

The timetable is as follows (as seen on M8 Wikipedia)

• During off-peak hours, 6 times an hour is driven between approximately 9:00 and 13:30
• From Monday to Saturday during the day, only half of the number of trips run between Sallandsekant and Nobelhorst
• At night, the bus runs from approximately 5:00 am and until approximately 2:15 am. Driving on Saturday night is until approximately 3:00 am.
• Between Central Station and Tussen de Vaarten Noord, the journeys of the M7 and M8 lines are coordinated as much as possible

By Bicycle

Dhamma Taḷāka can easily be reached by bicycle from Almere Centrum in 20 minutes. Bike routes Almere Centrum to Dhamma Talāka. Directions for the bike route in Google Maps are very good.
